Before i bought the m3s i owned a pair of $2400 jm labs .i was very happy with them ,but i'm an audiophile,and we are never happy. i had read so many rave reviews of your speakers that i just had to see what they sounded like. as soon as i heard the m3s i asked to upgrade to the m22s and gave my jm labs away. i since have bought the finest amp i could find to do the m22s justice. i'm now a 55 year old audiophile and i really feel i've found the finest audio i've ever heard. and what pleases me so much is everybody i have met at axiom has been so nice to me. i feel really proud to be part of the axiom family.

I read the reviews, saw the awards, and liked the style but had never heard them. I thought I would give it a shot, but had not had a chance to put in my order. My wife bought the M22 bookshelf speakers for the heck of it (without me knowing), knowing I have wanted a new set of speakers. Well, I'm now playing amazing iPod sound on a pair of M22s and the EP 350 that fills our new master bedroom with all our favorites, whenever we want them (lucky I ripped all those CDs at best compression settings to get the most out
of these beasts). I can play them wirelessly, from any room in our new apartment, from any computer, thanks to the Apple wireless setup.

I sure wish Yamaha made it as easy as you guys do. I replaced that high-end Yamaha (great in its day and still fine so we pressed it into service in the bedroom) with the new Pioneer, for our home theatre, still hooked up to your monster Axiom surround system. Guess what?

Your top-of-the-line system (can't remember all the model numbers) sounds EVEN BETTER in our apartment! I have no idea why because the old home theater had "theoretically perfect acoustics" than the way our apartment lays out. It's kind of spooky -- I think the speakers simply refuse to emit anything that mindblowing sound.

From the subtlest tinkles to explosions that shake the entire downtown apartment building we've just moved into), the old beast continues to astound me. The new set of speakers are truly incredible and fit and look wonderful. And.... it took me longer to figure out how to reconfigure the Yamaha than it did to take everything out of the boxes, do the wiring and get it all going.

With Axiom pouring out of our office, too (the top of our 3 floors downtown), I guess you could say, in my best "Ahnold"
impression possible...

I did receive the M22's last Friday and they sound Awesome! My plan was to try them out and then order the rest if I liked them. Well, I placed my order for a VP150 and 4 of the QS8's yesterday! I was cautiously optomistic due to the rave reviews and also some of the negative comments I had read. Well, I was blown away by the quality! The people who were negative have either never heard these before or they have really bad rooms/equipment/setups/ears or something because these are great. On a side note, I went to a hifi shop and auditioned the b&w nautilus
805 speakers (with a primaire preamp, classe power amp). The b&ws sounded flat, and lacked warmth and lowend. The soundstage was all lined up in a 2d plane, and was too laid back for enjoyment. Technically, it sounded great in the mid/high range, but for $2000, I am incredibly glad I bought the axioms for a fifth of the price. Sounds better, anyway. :)

Yep, they're here! The FedEx guy was somewhat appalled at having to deliver so many boxes to a residential address at the SAME TIME, but when I helped him lug them into the house he was at least somewhat mollified. I'm still putting everything together, and getting the room ready for them (boring holes through walls and floors, running MILES of cable, and generally thrashing around). I can't WAIT to fire everything up and see how it sounds!

Physically, the speakers and stands are flat-out beautiful! I particularly appreciate being able to run speaker cables through the stands themselves: it removes SO much clutter, and makes everything so much neater--and safer for a klutz like me! My 2 cats and 9 dogs will also appreciate this amenity.

You know I have been a lover of good wine for a long time. My greatest lament is the pomp and pretension centered around describing a great wine.
There are terms that must be used if you want to appear knowledgeable.
Personally I prefer to say this was an amazing bottle you should try it, the wine will justify itself. If forced to justify my joy I will use those terms but they just seem to lack emotion. I hate clinically deconstructing something that brought such pleasure.
I find my self in the same position with the new M22s that I just wired into my system. Speakers this good make me wish I had the full range of audiophile vocabulary to call on just so I could justify to the acoustically high brow why I pity the amount they spent. Words like transparency and clarity of reproduction just seem to lack the joy to describe the sound these speakers bring. I guess if I dont feel like talkking I can just let
the speakers speak for themselves. Since I am writing to you I will
leave it at stunning and amazing (I do not think an Oh my God would be out of place). I thought it was cliché when I read the reviews; I rediscovered music.... Three hours of sitting and just listening I understood. I look forward to going home and seeing what else I can listen to. You have a loyal customer and a devout advocate. If they paid teachers better I would be ordering a new center channel and surrounds with this letter...

I just wanted to let you know how absolutely pleased I am with your speakers. I began shopping for speakers three years ago. As a classically trained musician, I wanted to be able to enjoy the full symphonic experience at home. Additionally, as a classically trained musician, in a musical profession, my budget was limited. I auditioned several speakers and couldn’t find any that were up to the full force of the orchestra when called upon by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Shostakovich, etc. The middle of the orchestra would inevitably become “muddy”. The only solution I found up to that point was the Gold Reference Speakers from Monitor Audio.
After doing a lot of research online, I decided to take a chance on your M22’s. I had planned, if they worked out as reviewers claimed, to use them as surrounds and purchase the M60’s for the fronts. I have been meaning to write to you guys for some time. We had an addition measuring 24 by 14 in the rear of our house which has become our family/media room. We now have a big screen TV and a 6.1 Channel Home Theater setup with your M22s as our front speakers WOW! Your quality bookshelf speakers with my Cambridge Soundworks 12 Sub sounds awesome. Your speakers are so musical on CDs and they add so much realism to and DVD we play! I auditioned a couple of different speaker brands (Boston Acoustics, Paradigm to name a couple) at a Tweeter's and another High End stereo store but I have to say that your M22s on the SS24 stands filled with sand and stone make our system sing. They are extremely musical and so natural / neutral sounding and yes they are getting better with use. My sons and I as well as just about anyone else who hears the system cannot believe the clarity. We crank up the volume on the launch scene from Armageddon where both space shuttles are taking off simultaneously and it is awesome. Thanks for a super quality product and a wonderful finish - I don't know how you did it but the Charcoal Grey M22s almost exactly match the Hitachi big screen TV so besides the great sound it all looks great together. Believe me if I ever decide to change any of the speakers in the system at a later date you guys will definitely get my business.

I bought a pair of M22tis about a year ago and have enjoyed them off and on in various systems. They are fine speakers and great value. But I've found a magic combo with your speakers and wanted to pass it along. I have the speakers on 24 stands (for some reason, much better sounding than what I'd think would be more appropriate 18 ones), with a modded Pioneer DVD running straight into a Sophia Baby amp--ten whopping watts--and this system makes music like almost no other I've had in my home. I confess to giving a good chunk of the credit to the Sophia amp, which is stunning regardless of cost (it lists for $800), but the Axiom speakers are its match, producing a detailed, big, and, most important, musical sound. I find myself listening to this system more than to my big one, which costs multiples of the smaller one.

I was impressed that a smaller speaker can produce such a wide range of sound. Much to my suprise,these speakers feature plenty of tight bass,and balanced treble- which was pleasing to my ears.I was shocked that a small cabinet can produce such a deep sound,comparable to a pair of tower speakers. I purchased a set of the M3ti and one pair of the M22 i series speakers over the last few months. They are absolutely wonderful. The sound is clear, deep, and precise. Just beautiful music for the price. The reviews i read were on target-the best sound for the price paid. they are better than speakers costing many more dollars. The workmanship and overall quality are truly remarkable. I would give them a 5 point rating on a scale of 1-5, 5 being the best. The bass is very good-but for true bass lovers a Subwoofer would be helpful for the big, deep bangs. These two sets of bookshelf speakers are highly recommended. You can't go wrong. The 30 day try out period in your own home cant be beat either. The staff is wonderful to deal with and respond quickly to your questions, concerns, etc. they are very friendly as well.

I use the M22Tis as rear surround speakers for my home theatre system. The tonal quality emanating from these small speakers are quite deep, warm and with a larger sound stage that usually reproduce by floor standing speakers. The high is crystal clear with a smooth transparent feel to it without being bright or harsh. Amazingly, these ] little puppies can crank out some very low but rich frequency, again very smooth. I listen to music more than ever before, jazz, standards, classical... And for vocals, they are unbelievably realistic for I can hear smoothness that the voices carry in all octaves. The sound is very enveloping and transparent that filled my sizable listening room, 22' x 20' with 12' high vaulted ceiling.

For HT, these little power houses reproduce true to live (special effect) sounds from flying helicopters, explosions, dinosaurs to crickets in the distance. Clarity and realism, the two main ingredients I look for in surround speakers and the M22Tis surpass beyond my expectation. These speaker are the best bang for the bucks, an outstanding value.

Just got the speakers and I've found I'm falling in love with my music all over again. Hearing things I haven't heard before. The sound is very clean without being austere, warm without being wooly. 5-1/4 woofers give amazing bass reproduction, even without a subwoofer, which I may decide to add eventually. But since I don't listen as much to rock/pop as I do to jazz and orchestral, these have plenty of oomph with no distortion. And they look great too. I can't wait to go home and put on another disc!

I've been listening to my new M22ti speakers for 3 weeks now. I have them hooked up to a Yamaha RX-596 stereo receiver (80 watts, 120 watt dynamic headroom). For the first week, I listened to a variety of different music, ranging from your suggestion of Bavarian Highlands (great album by the way) to home-made frequency-modulated sine waves. I was fairly impressed with the clarity of the sound. Voices sound like human beings, not robots; hi-hats are nice and crisp (I am a percussionist); and orchestras fill the room nicely (I have a relatively large appartment). The only lacking department, these being bookshelfs, was in electronica music, where the bass was simply insufficient to make the floors vibrate. This being said though, my roommate's system (worth a few thousand more than my own) performed more poorly than mine in all of my tests. This was impressive since his speakers have 6 1/2 drivers, whereas the M22ti have only 5 1/4 drivers. This first week of testing made a good first impression.
For the following two weeks of testing, I added a Polk PSW404 subwoofer to my system (sorry, I bought it before I learned about AxiomAudio). This addition did not really change the sound quality of classical music in general, although it might have added some depth and definition. The difference can be felt mostly for rock, jazz, and electronica, where the kick-drum and the bass make a significant contribution to the musical experience. The M22ti intergrate really well with the sub (I have to turn the sub off to convince myself that it's actually working). All-in-all an interesting musical experience no matter my immediate auditory needs.
Finally, I should say that I discovered AxiomAudio by pure luck. I was last-minute surfing for reviews on another brand of speakers (my mind was set on buying these, although I had last-minute regrets because I had not been impressed when listening to them in a local store). Shopping for speakers is a disaster. The vast majority of reviews are not helpfull at all and can be misleading. Anyway, I somehow ended up on the AxiomAudio website and clicked on Bookshelf speakers. I was initially impressed by the look of the speakers: they did not look like toys made for gullible amateurs. Then, there was the fact that I could listen to them at home for one month. The website was also professional, with a newsletter that was truely informative. I recently purchased these speakers and hooked them up to my tiny new
1bit sharp theater system. high tech but only about twenty something whats per channel. took the speakers over to my friends place who has nice quality sound all throughout his house. amplifiers, powered speakers, nice receivers, cable, etc. anyway in one of his rooms, he had some powered roland monitors that in the past i thought were so nice and he paid $600.00 each for the roland bookshelf type speakers. i brought my axom top end bookshelf speakers and he hooked them up where his rolands had been and these speakers sounded soooo much cleaner and sweeter than the rolands i had just recently truely enjoyed. when i told him the cost of only $220 u.s.
per speaker with no tax and free shipping----he actually made the comment that i was showing off!!! after hearing these speakers connected to more powerful, nice equipment, i was even more impressed with the quality of the sound. very nice!

Great set of little speakers. I was impressed with how loudly these can play before I could detect any straining. Very well balanced and detailed. I got these first then got the M22s. These are good - especially for the price, but if your wallet can afford it go up the food chain to an M22 or a floor stander. Some people like these cause the bad recordings don't sound so bad, like they can on the M22s. These are not slightly treble oriented like most other Axioms.

M3's in a custom Vassallo finish, you can't get much better. These bookshelves floored me with their sound. I went back and forth with my M60' and the M3's and couldn't choose a winner. There just couldn't be one as they each have their own strong points and an ability to sound so good yet different. I played with the M3's as rear surrounds, front channels and presence speakers. They did well in each application but really they excelled as stereo speakers and can run full range beautifully. These have to be the all around Axioms.

I can't believe it's been a year now since I purchased these speakers. My wife wanted something small and unobtrusive for the family room TV and for Music. I wanted something with great sound. We both won. My wife was surprised that the speakers looked so nice (I guess that said something about what we had before). I had some problems initially that I thought might be a problem with a speaker but it ended up being a setup problem with my Onkyo Receiver (just a dumb mistake). Customer Service was excellent and stuck with me until the problem was resolved. They even contacted me later to make sure that everything was still good. The M3's are great little bookshelf speakers. They are everything I was looking for in a speaker to be a part of a dedicated 2 channel listening room. I compared and auditioned many speakers in Hi-Fi shops that were far more expensive and those that were available at the big box stores. I also own 5 lesser pairs of bookshelf speakers (most of which now gather dust) and a very nice pair of large floor standing speakers. I was very close to purchasing an "audiophile" speaker but was turned off by it's poor performance with one particular song. I decided to give the M3's a shot based on internet reviews and advice from owners. They offer the detail, clarity, forward mid-range, soundstage, imaging, and bass response found with the more expensive speakers I considered. They have handled everything I have thrown at them and I have yet to find them fatiguing in any way. I am very happy with the M3's. They truly are every bit as good as bookshelf speakers costing two to three times its price.

My M3's showed up Tuesday morning with the stands I now have them hooked up to my Jolida JD302BRC. These speakers out of the box are unreal. Called and ask about room set up for just 2 channel and I have it right on these aren't even broke in yet.

Sound stage and presence is so nice like hot butter just melting in the sun. I auditioned Paradigm S20.4 this are just as good or better and cost wow your company is top notch. And any of the bad reviews out there these people are def or they don't understand + and - signs on the speakers and there amps. I purchased my first Axiom speakers in December 1987 ((AX5 Reference). They have been flawless and sound as perfect as day one. This is my second pair of bookshelf Axiom speakers. The M3 v2 I just purchased are a great combination of acoustic perfection and outstanding value. I replaced an older pair of Axioms CT-6...they are going to my office, not that there is anything wrong with them, but the titanium drivers and woofer on the M3 is better for my TV/Video setup. The office will have great background stereo music.

I will be moving to a larger house soon and it will definitely have a home theatre audio room. I would not hesitate to acquire an Epic system...the realism for value cannot be matched ANYWHERE! So many people spend countless hours on frills of receivers, amps, preamps with bells, whistles and pops. But really, when it all comes to audio you have one pair of ears and the lowest THD ratio to highest wattage will give you the best sound based on the frequency range. There is no better combination than with Axiom.

I'm rediscovering music I forgot I had!  Two solid nights with the M3's and I'm still going through my CD collection, digging up tracks I've not listened to in years, just to hear what they sound like!  I'm hearing things I never did before.  Imaging, clarity, and the midrange.  Oh the midrange!  The most direct comparison I can make is to Dynaudio's Audience 52.  A speaker that costs well over twice as much as the M3.  The Axiom more than holds it own.  It really makes you wonder why other companies charge so much...  I had reservations about buying a speaker without hearing it first, but those concerns soon faded after warming up the amp with the M3's attached.  I quickly realized that I would not need to use Axiom's 30 day guarantee.  A bargain at twice the price.

Received my M3s about a week ago and had these first few comments.  Took me a few days to get the time to hook them up and listen.    I first had them in my garage hooked to a vintage Pioneer SX-950.  Very crisp and clear but also a bit muffled I thought.  So I took them inside and put them on top of my M60s and hooked them up to my Yamaha.   The sound had me asking if I had hooked up the 60s by mistake.  WOW!!!  These babies along with a sub are unbelievable!!  Clear, crisp, loud, great soundstage and imaging.  But ya'll already know that.  That's why we all love our Axioms and the great service ya'll provide (they made it here on the second day :-)) and that's why we keep coming back for more speakers, even when we really don't NEED them....  I did put them back in my garage since that is why I bought them and they are now hooked up to a vintage Sansui 9090DB.  They sound awesome and make working in the garage and yard much easier. All ya'll (that's plural in Texas for ya'll) are all great and thanks again for the wonderful products and service!!  Now if I can figure out how to get a sub in the garage!!!

I just received a pair of M3V2 bookshelf speakers. The pair of Paradigm 7 se's I have were just too big for the room. Honestly I was a little worried about the purchase, possibly making just a little too much down sizing or comprimise.(I've never seen or heard any Axiom's) I'm not an audio expert by any means but in laymans terms this is how I see or hear it. The Axiom M3ti speakers arrived fast from Canada to Arizona and in perfect shape from Fed Ex ! Beautiful speakers both in looks and especially in sound !! The Axioms are truly a huge audiophile step up for me after owning the gamut of various name brand speakers over the years (Harvard, Cerwin Vega,Infinity,Yamaha,Polk,Pioneer)...Out of this list, the tower Cerwin Vegas served me very well with their thundering bass, but ,with their sharp and shrill tweeters and midrange, certainly did not make them audiophile quality (I was always getting ear and mind fatigue from them). The Infinity IL-10's had a nice, silky soft wide stereo image but there was always something that when closing my eyes I simply could tell they were still book shelf speakers (and they were heavy ones at that)! The rest of the brand names all lacked something sonically or overemphasized certain frequencies giving a very colored or artificial sound... With the Axioms, I don't hear speaker boxes;I hear MUSIC and riveting movie sound effects !!! Currently I am running them in a two channel stereo  setup in conjunction with a Velodyne CHT8 sub. The Axioms integrate seamlessly and exceptionally well with the Velodyne-----can't even tell I have a sub connected-----sounds like the thunderous bass is coming from the Axioms ! Your Axioms lack nothing or need nothing (even without the sub they are extremely enjoyable with all analog and digital sources) ! I look forward to purchasing more from you in the future---hopefully , from your tower speaker line...  Thanks again for your super customer service and awesome product,

I recieved the M3ti's and they sound wonderful- the bass really
surprises me for such a small speaker and the tweeter is fantastic! I'm
hearing percussion parts and chimes and symbols in the upper register that I just hadn't heard before. It has opened up space in the music of the recordings that I
have been listening to for years. Steely Dan is one of my favorite groups, at least all their albums in the 70's anyway and Wow!! I think they were masters of recording and I'm hearing new things now with them as well. I also got some 28 inch speaker stands and that really seems to make a differece as well. The M3Ti's have a smootheness to them that is not glossy, but warm. I was listening to Herbie Hancock's Maiden Voyage and what a fantastic sound! To hear the upright bass come right through the speakers and to hear all of the nuances of the tenor sax is such an experience. I also bought the Harmon Kardon 3380 Stereo Receiver and it sounds really nice. 80 watts per side seems perfect- I haven't bomblasted the neighbors yet as I have been breaking the speakers in slowly. I don't know how
long that process is... I've certainly enjoyed a volume that makes the
heart beat a little stronger. I've also gotten better FM reception with the HK, than with my old Panasonic and programming stations with a remote control, what a treat!!

I was pleasantly surprised when I first listened to the Axiom M3Ti. It has the
qualities of a much more expensive speaker, at a more than reasonable price. The speakers are very easy to listen to. I enjoy the detail and clarity that it brings out for my music and home theatre use. The M3ti delivers in all the listening range. It has tight and satisfying bass, an exceptionally smooth and clear midrange, and finally rounds out with an amazingly crisp and detailed high end. I love the way the M3Ti sounds. I've known about Axiom's since about 1993...a punk friend of mine couldn't recommend his Axiom 3's (or 2's...it's been a while) any higher for sound reproduction. I've thought about Axiom's on and off when thinking about speakers ever since, but hadn't had occasion to buy.

I was recently in the market for a pair of bookshelves to replace some floor models I have in a smallish room, and when I tested out some M3tis and bought them on the spot.
So, there you go....the sales cycle on your products can sometimes be over ten years, but I'm happy to have finally purchased a pair of your excellent speakers. I'll be adding to the setup, when space and budget allow for it.

I've always been a skeptic about product reviews on the internet, and when I read the online reviews for the M3's, the speaker seemed too good to be true for the price range. Having spent a few hours auditioning them in the store and at home, I BELIEVE THE HYPE! The M3 is a man among boys as far as loudspeakers in its price range. Thank you. I set up the speakers last night and am enjoying them. The Axioms are replacing an old pair of floor-standing Allison CD8s; the M3s don't have the same bass (as expected) but they do have a clean, natural sound. This is my first purchase of audio equipment in 20 years. I have some placement tweaking to do but they fit nicely in our family room. I bought them based on the reviews on audioholics.com. Initially, I purchased these to have a good starter surround system in my 12'x20' family room, but when I coupled them with the VP 100 and QS8's, I found it easy to balance the whole audio atmoshpere without upgrading these front speakers to the M50's I had planned on upgrading to... that would just be overkill without adding any quality sound atmosphere!!!

I know I should support the Finnish loudspeaker industry which is not bad at all either (just to mention Amphion, Chorus, Crevasse(GREAT but too expensive and big), Genelec, Gradient & Penaudio for example). But still I chose you. Liked your speakers more and have to say I had quite a demands for them! And saved a lot by doing that!

Just want to say thanks for an awesome product! I got my M2i today and I am greatly impressed. No matter what genre I listen to, there is no coloration! Highs are clear and detailed and the midrange is powerful and clean. I am only 16 and so my budget is very limited, therefore I was extremely skeptical about buying loudspeakers without hearing them over the internet. My fears melted away when I set up my M2is and put on a copy of The Patriot. The Axioms blew away my old Kenwoods that were twice the size and the outstanding maple cabinet and aluminum woofers look great next to my TV. I can turn them up as loud as I want and there is hardly any distortion. I will be coming back for my center, rears, and possibly the sub. I had them broken in two hours after fedex dropped them off and I was at the door waiting for them. I can't believe the sound I got for 250 bucks! Thanks!

I purchased a pair of the Axiom Audio M2TI's and one of the VP50 center channel speakers and was immediately impressed. These under $300.00 (USD) speakers blow away the competition in the $300.00 to $500.00 price range. They have a realistic quality to them that others in this price category cannot compete with.

My CD collection runs the entire spectrum of music, from classical to rock & roll. While all sound great with the Axiom's, they really shine with jazz vocals. Legendary performers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Louie Armstrong and Shirley Horn appear to be live in my listening room with the Axioms.

I am so impressed with these speakers that I have decided to dump my B&W DM601's in favor of a pair of the M22TI's or the M40TI's. I have presently positioned the $430.00+ B&W's as my rear channel speakers. Incredibly they have been replaced as mains by my $240.00 dollar Axioms!

While these speakers excel with music, they are also outstanding with home theatre. Over the past few years I have listened to less and less music, and only watched movies about once per week. I now find myself wanting to watch movies or listen to music every night because of the great sound I'm hearing from the M2's and the VP50. The scary thing is, these speakers aren't even broken in yet! I anticpate even better sound once they are completely broken in.

I would recommend these speakers to anyone who wants a great loudspeaker at a great price. Axioms are not for people who like to waste gobs of money on their equipment, nor are they for people who choose name recognition over performance. Axiom Audio loudspeakers are for people who simply want to enjoy music and movies. Do yourself a favor and check them out.
