Incredible. To my surprise I found these speakers to deliver both directional and non-directional - just as the origianl mix calls for. They also are full bodied and rich making a more fuller broader surround experience. They simply blow away other surrrund speakers I've heard; working well as side surrounds or rear (back, as in a 6.1 or 7.1 system).

   

I purchased 4 QS8 v2's a year ago to round out my Axiom 7.1 speakers. Without a doubt the QS8's are one of the premier surround speakers at any price. I intend to add more to my bedroom system re-do and recommend them to everyone. These should be on the top of your list of surround speakers to audition. I feel confident to you'll be amazed and they won't be returned.

I decided it was time to upgrade my system and it was while I was researching surround speakers that I came across the Axiom QS8's, I read a few glowing reviews and thought well it's like all dealers they only list the \"good\" reviews, so I decided to try and find any negative reviews about them. Well after a lot of searching I came up empty handed, I then decided they must be all what these other people were saying they were. I found out that Axiom have a 30 day money back guarantee, so on that basis I decided to order the QS8's and a VP150 Center Speaker. I live in Australia and ordered them on a Friday, the following Teusday they arrived. I was impressed, anyway after unpacking them and hooking them up I was BLOWN away by how great they sounded, everything sounded so different, Crisp and Clear. If you are looking for a set of Surrounds or a Center Speaker, don't waste your time searching. I highly recommend the QS8's and the VP150 Graeme

I love the QS8s. They are superbly built and the sound quality and sound dispersion required for home theater systems is excellant. I will add 2 more to my Harman Kardan driven system when there is enough 7 channel material readily available. They are a bargain in a market filled with claims to be \"the best\". The EP 500 sub is also a product that will literally blow away any concerns.

   

Nicely completes my surround sound system in a fairly small 12'x20' family room...traded up from the QS4's I originally purchased to give a richer total atmosphere..and it works!

   

A lovely pair of surrounds... Even though I have them mounted directly behind, and above me, they still create a nice diffuse image.

   

I ordered a pair of M22's for my inlaws and was instantly impressed at the sound and quality of the speakers. I ordered a pair of QS8's for myself expecting the same impressions. Boy have they lived up to the task. These are the best surrounds I've heard and create a sound field I've never experienced before. Even my wife commented on how good they were. I now recommend these to everyone.

   

The QS8, with one listen you will appreciate. These are awesome surround speakers but do yourself a favor and try them with music with pro logic II and the like. These speakers just can't let you down.

Wow, couldn't believe the sound these speakers produce. Out of the box I was surprised by the weight of these speakers. Sound is incredible as others have mentioned. Forgiving of positioning and capable of playing very loud when called upon. Matches so well with other axiom products. Certainly worth the investment.

I have setup my new surround speakers which I have matched with my marantz multiroom receiver and 1 year old surround stereo system. I must admit, I'm very happy with the clarity of the sound. I have mainly used it to listen to music so far and can't wait to hear the sound of the 7:1 distribution of action movies. Very pleased with the sound so far - I'm about 60% movie, 40% music - they are not lame at all for music in 7 channel mode, contrary to some things I had read..., and for movies they I am very pleased with the surround effects compared to the direct-radiating units I had been using (NHT Super Zeros, now being used for 'backs' in my 7.1 setup.) Finally, I got my QS 8s hooked up as surrounds, M22s in front and my Paradigm Atoms in the rear with Paradigm sub connected to Denon 3802, Toshiba Cinema Series widescreen. Want the moviegoer experience in your living room? This is it period. I have heard surrounds from Paradigm, B&W, Klipsh, Energy, etc. Though I will admit that speaker selection is arbitrary, I have never heard a surround that is as enveloping as the QS8. Additionally, many state that should you want to do DVD Audio you must buy/have direct radiating surrounds –not so. If anything, I have found that the QS8’s do a fantastic job of musical reproduction as well. I will be the first to admit that this took me back. Once again Axiom’s “Quadpolar” design has proven successful in more than one venue. I was simply blown away listening to the Tea Party Illuminations DVD as well as the DVD Audio disc of STP Core. Try it, you won’t want anything else.
