Becasue when he replaced a section of lawn with concrete and thought he was going to park the 30' RVin the front yard, and block 75% of the sidewalk, I pushed the city ordinance that he was breaking. So we started off on a bad note.




Good on you for taking a stand. Drives me crazy when people are so presumptuous to think that because they own the property (and in some cases simply becausse they have lots of money), they can do what ever they like.

When I was much younger, there was a guy on our street who owned a concrete business. He was going to expand his house until someone pointed out the zoning limitations. He ended up moving to a location (two streets over) where he built a new house dedicated to entertaining. Ended up drinking too much, lost his wife, went bankrupt and sold the house to a father of one of my friends.
