Will an epic 80/ep500 5.1 system (boxed) fit in my jeep cherokee?
My speakers have finally made it all the way to Tulsa, OK.
They are at the facility waiting for me to pick them up to make sure they are not left unattended on my porch. ( plus I would have to wait until tomorrow for delivery)
Do I need ot bring two SUV's to pick them up... what do you think?
This is going ot be the longest day at work ever!

Can you remove or lay down any seats?

the back seat lays down, so I have a flat area from the back of the jeep to behind the front seats. I think it will fit in there ok, I will at least give it a shot. Worst case scenario I make two trips

I don't think they'll fit. You'll be lucky if the 500 fits. Those jeeps don't have much room and the boxes are pretty big (they are double boxed).

You very well may be right. However, I was able to fit my sony 50" lcdrp tv in the jeep + my tv stand(without the box). When I brought the tv home in the box I had to use my step dad's path finder for it to fit, but that box was stinking huge.
The shipping facility is right down the road from my work, so I may go by there for lunch and check out the situation.
I may bring a couple of vehicles later (jeep+ pathfinder), or I may bring a truck from work.

the truck idea is your best bet I think, they boxes are indeed very big, the EP500 box is simply gigantic.

If I remember right the M80 box was about 44" tall 16" wide and 22" deep. I would take a truck just to do it in one trip.

I think putting a 5.1 Epic 80 setup in a jeep cherokee is the best idea ive heard in quite a while. You can probably lay the M80's on the dash and possibly mount the Vp150 off the rear view mirror. The sub would probably fit in the back great. What do you plan to drive them all with? As far as i know there are no 5.1 car amplifier's Definetly send pics when you get it all installed

Haoleb, I hope you aren't serious Anyway, I went to the DHL facility during lunch and I fit everything in my jeep except the ep-500. I came back and got the ep-500 on the second trip. I didn't have much time so I was only able to unbox 1 QS8, it looked brand new, could not find any blemishes at all. Both m80 boxes have a huge gash in the cardboard box, I can see the m80 through the side of the cardboard.... It does not look to be scratched or anything, but we will see after they are fully un-boxed. It looked like DHL just threw them all over the place. Hopefully the speakers are in better shape then the box. All other boxes looked to be in good condition. Also, the M80's were NOT double boxed
