Hey Cat,
could you solder on the RCA pin to make a tight fit? might be worth a try! you can always file some off. Hadn't thought of that. It is worth a try. Just make the pin a little fatter with some solder.

2 of my new 5 M22's for my wall will arrive in KC, MO on Monday. I've moved all electronic's to living room to an older TV stand and placed TV on top of it. All speakers off of the wall and either boxed up, or sitting on kitchen table. I'm just watching movies with a pair of M22's and EP350 at the moment. Going to start working on wall repair and priming for paint this weekend. Going to replace 2 sets of drapes with blackout curtains too. Just haven't found anything I want yet. Will probably go to Bed Bath and Beyond soon and have a look around. I'm thinking of maybe curtain panels with grommets in the top. Will probably take 5 panels for one window, and 3 for the other. Then some small blackout curtains for the top of my front door, and some sort of blackout curtain for the skylight. Perhaps I can buy a single panel and cut it up into the sizes I need. Maybe something like this in olive.

I decided on Kilz 2 for primer and Behr Premium Plus Ultra for paint in eggshell Candy Apple Red. Will start today, if I can get all my chores done and the room prepared.
Happy Easter!

I found some curtains that match this Candy Apple Red very well at JC Penny, but unfortunately, it isn't a black out curtain. I like these enough that I'll probably spend the extra money to purchase a double rod and find a way to mount blackout liners to it, with the curtains on grommets on the inside most rod. It's difficult to find blackout curtains with grommets. So far not a lot of luck. I did see some on-line that had the blackout liner suspended from rings. There is a method to affix the liner to the back of the curtain, but the curtain is 50 inches wide and the liners are usually 30 inches wide. With the curtain being a light weight and the liner being a heavy weight, I'd probably be better off suspending each on it's own rod.

Agreed, suspending heavy things on your rod can be dangerous. AND NO, that's not what I meant!!!
Another long story....Sorry. When I was a kid, we moved into a very old but beautiful house that my Dad bought for a steal because he did odd jobs all his life for the three old ladies who lived there. The living room had thick, solid wood sliding doors on two sides with hugely heavy, velvet curtains on brass rods. They were kind of spooky looking actually. In fact, years later when I was in high school our neighbour, an older gentleman whom I remember as being truly a master carpenter, asked if he could borrow them for a set he was building for the summer theatre production of Dracula.
It was a beautiful set that rivalled something you might see on TV. The curtains were used in the living room scenes. Tim, the carpenter had used a thick, wooden dowel to suspend the heavy curtains black side out. When it switched to the tomb, they were raised by a rope system, they swung the pole around and lowered them with the deep red coloured side out.
One night, whomever rigged the curtains for the Dracula show didn't secure them properly and in once scene when Renfield came barging through, they fell on his head knocking him out cold. The actors brilliantly worked it into the story line and got him off stage where he came around.
I should note that the fellow who played Renfield was almost always drunk and no doubt this contributed to the falling curtains and why the other actors were so accustomed to add-libbing as he stumbled about. I worked at the theater running the canteen and every night that Dracula played, I put on an extra pot of coffee to help sober up Renfield. In fact, I got to play Renfield myself one night when both he and his stand in were just too drunk to go on at all. But that is another story.

We all have these stories, I'm sure. I just have enough conference calls every day where I have to listen but probably only talk for 10% of them that I can use half my brain to type them out. It's the half brain thing that I blame all my spelling mistakes on, by the way. Ya, that's it!
