Great foundation for future expanding
M80s with EP500 in walnut espresso in above garage loft bonus room. Floor boxes to feed the speakers. Sharp solution. No wires.
Love the walnut finishes. Very classy. First brush with the M80s. Need more power than we had on hand honestly, but still just great!
Another great install. Just cant go wrong with Axiom yet!

I went with the Epson 5050UB. Had really good reviews but haven’t had a chance to test it out yet.

A Couple of years ago the 5050 was my top choice. Today lasers have come down, and are so incredibly good that I’m now only looking in that market. The HU810 is at the top of my list but if the JVC is a better projector I might swing that way. Although, the JVC projector is a bit older witch also makes me wonder if a replacement might be due soon.

I just installed a UHZ50 in another build. Extremely good as well and very low input lag.
The LX-NZ3 is just on another level.

Tvs pro did a comparison vid between a 6050 and the lx-nz3.
Pretty close overall, but if you look close the nz3 just pops. Incredible depth from a 2d image.

I looked at the JVC line up … ahhh the DLA-NX7 4K D-ILA for just 3 times more … Makes you wonder if the picture is 3 times as good. … but I did give it a 1/2 second thought

I think the UHZ50 is the sweet spot right now.

I'm just going by the reviews and I'm sure you've had personal experience with this. But that said, form what I've read on the UHZ50, it's more of trade off between a gaming projector and a HT projector.
For theater the consensus seems to lean toward the HU810PW and others. Also as you pointed out, the JVC LX-NZ3 gets high marks. The reviews confirm that ... As to which I'd buy right at the moment I'm a bit up in the air as l've yet to see a real comparison between the two (HU810PW & LX-NZ3).
I'm just a delay'ed gratification kind of guy ... so, I'm delaying my purchase till I'm totally ready for it ... Hoping to see if something better turns up.
