Great humorous story
At first my wife was not thrilled when I told her I was going to convert part of our basement into a HT. I bought the Sanyo Z2 before I had the basement finished so we just beamed the imaged on one of our white textured walls temporarily. Once we started watching movies at 110" - 120" diag. she started to realize how cool this might be....jump into the future a few months, my Axioms arrive next week, I already have the Denon 2805, and the basement still is not down
Anyway, now that the wife is starting to understand how awesome this is going to be when done, she doesn't seem as bothered about the money.
Heck, one trick that worked for me is that I originally told her I wanted B&W's but when I mentioned I can buy a pair of m60's for less then the price of one B&W, she said "go for it".
