WOW Randy sorry to hear about your luck with the 500. I think it is a sign from the SUB GODS. The 500 is not the right choice for you. Go ahead and get the 600.

I was hoping for all the troubles I would get Santa to bring me a 600.  No actually, everything has been just fine, Amie and I have worked out everything. Since my current 500 works, it is all good.

I am glad to hear that all will be fine. I just watched Stat Wars it my 500 rocked and rolled. I was only listening to it at -15. I can't wait til the wife wakes up so I can really cranks it.

Which Star Wars episode Clarence? I thought 1-2 and 4-6 had better LFE than 3, not sure why...

There were some interesting waterfall plots of Episode III of the LFE track of III at AVSForums. Long story short, for whatever reason, the LFE channel was not heavily used in this movie. There were a lot of complaints about the lack of bass in this movie.

Just to let you know, the new Amp came in, I just installed it and I think the problem is resolved, so far I have not been able to recreate the vibration. I'll be posting some pics later of what a good crate looks like when it arrives in tact...
