Happy New Year! Yeah, the weather is pretty good in Ca. On Christmas Eve it was like 85 degrees. I had to turn the AC on that night! Now it's cooling off again, thankfully.

HAPPY NEW YEAR CLARENCE! And, to all, for that matter. Have a SANE and SAFE New Year's celeration and may the coming year be filled with contentment and peace of mind. My best to you all.

Hmmm. SAFE, SANE, and SISSY all start with the letter S. Coincidence? I think not.

Who am I kidding. I'll be spending New Years at home with the family, praying that the kids will go to bed early.

I had my unsafe and insane New Year's Eve's. More than I can count. You have to remember that I was a musician by profession. When we played on New Year's Eve, we would always admonish the audience to be careful driving home, because there were so many amateur drunks on the road. They didn't have to worry about us professionals, we were experienced.

Unfortunately, there was more than a grain of truth in that statement. I can think back to many nights driving home from gigs when I had no right to be on the highway, but, fortunately, I never had a problem.

P.S. Safe, Sane, and SMART all start with "S." Coincidence? I think not!

Back in those days, there were more horses than cars on the road, right???

Actually there is still an old blue law in the sate of Washington for horse less carriages. At night one needs to have a person with a latern walking ten feet in front of the vehicle.

Another note, I learned that for stealing a horse it is still a hanging offense in WA, found this out when an x-wife decided to come and take the horse that she did not want in the divorce settlement. The officer tracked her down and when he called and informed her of the law, my horse was back in the pasture within 5 hours. lol

I also hear bestiality is not illegal in Washington, as long as the animal isn't being harmed. Crazy state, that one.

What cars? We had fast horses, and the damned horses drank as much as we did.
