All, My 7300 is in the shop but may not be covered by warranty. I am afraid of investing $$$ into repairing that receiver..but not sure of the cost just yet. Therefore, I have invested in an open box AVR335 which is working just fine. However, I am considering returning my 2 Outlaw 2200 mono blocks and picking up a B stock Outlaw 7125 which is 7x125w. Does anyone own the Outlaw 7125 - opinions and advice would be appreciated. Thanks, -Tarun

I don't have a 7125, but I have been considering 2200's for the fronts and center. Why are you considering returning them?

Quite honestly...it is because my AVR is in the shop. I bought a smaller AVR and decided that maybe it was time to get rid of the bigger AVR. In other words...buy smaller cheaper AVR's and just keep the amp. The 7125 is 125w x 7 channels which should be sufficient.
Thats it.... Thats why I started the thread...to get a better idea of if I was making the right move or not.

These words just don't sound right coming from a guy with 80s and a 600.
I think a 7700 fits your long range needs!

I would wait to see what is up with the 7300. It is every bit as powerful as the Outlaw amp you are looking at.

Wid makes a good point. The H/Ks are conservatively rated, the 7300 at 110 per channel. Not much change to get a 7125.

It would be like a move sideways, not an upgrade imo.

Inthedeck has had it....
As for the move sideways...you may be right. Lets hope the outcome on the 7300 is positive.
I will keep you updated via this thread.
