Because the badly-designed ones mangle your fingers/palm/crook of elbow/teeth/t-shirt/chosen opening implement!

Ok, since you've posted a pic of a cool car, I've got to put one up, too.

Ahhhh...cars. What do you all drive? Here's my wheels...2002 Audi A4 3.0 Quattro (yeah I stole the pic from Edmunds.com, but my car is the same model, same color, same wheels, and this pic is better than the one I have)

So I was poking around the Axiom site and decided to try typing in random links. I tried a bunch that went nowhere, but I finally tried www.axiom.com/research/prototypes.html and found this pic on the page:
It looks to me like it's equivalent to two M80s. As far as the colors go, the page explained the avocado veneer with mustard-colored cones were chosen to discourage the prototype from being stolen. After all, who would want THAT in their living room?
BTW, the link I mentioned no longer works. They must have discovered it was mistakenly open to the public soon after I found it.

but I must say, my favorite car that I've actually driven is the 2003 Mercedes S600. Twin-turbo V12 with acceleration (0-60 in 4.6s) that felt as good as the Dodge Viper (0-60 in 3.9) I drove above. (Yes, the Viper has better acceleration, but only in the hands of an expert, which I am not.)
I had the opportunity to test drive the Mercedes on a cone/obstacle course at the 2003 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Drool...

This is the "funnest" car I've owned. This car was FAST, and handled like it was on rails. I used to take some CRAZY sharp turns at 60mph...scared the hell out of my passengers. (especially if we met an oncoming car when doing it) *sigh* to be 19 again...

Havving ridden in a similar vintage Camaro, I can attest to the "on-rails"-like cornering ability.
