Sorry, the contest is closed. And that's a really crappy name.
LOL! That was very funny Peter.
Agreed! When I first read that, the last post at the time, I thought the contest was over...and laughed when I realized it wasn't

The Agony of Choosing was much worse. We couldn't agree on one selection (or even two or even three). We ended up taking your suggestions together, and coming up with the A1400-8.
Since several of you were really close, we're dividing up the gift certificate to the names we felt were the very closest:
$100 - Hutzal - for the ADA-8 $100 - Ajax - for the AC1400 $100 - Wid - for the AD1400 $100 - Bridgman - for the A8 $100 - Real80sman - for the DA1400/DA8 Hybrid
We really want to thank everyone who entered! Another contest coming very shortly!

This is the first time I have ever won anything like this, fantastic. Congrats to the other winners.
Thank you Amie.

Thank you, Amie and Ian, et. al. IMHO, your choice is an excellent one, descriptive and succinctly to the point.

Another day, another contest.
I guess "elegant" names weren't what Axiom had in mind (things that really personally named the amp). The naming scheme is more something that opens up the possibility of more amps.
It's a nice, simple name. Congrats to the winners!

OK, in the interest of spreading my soon-to-come wealth, I'm willing to sell the rights to:
The Sturgeon/Pigeon Lake Combo
to the first person to send me $400...Visa, M/C and Amex accepted.
Why would I let it go so cheap? Well, I'm a giving guy and community-minded. It would, in all likelihood, give someone in this fine community the opportunity to come out $100 ahead.
And me? Well, I'll lose $100 off the value of the contest, but I'll still be able to sit a grandchild on my knee someday and tell them how the famous Axiom Sturgeon/Pigeon Lake Amp/Pre-pro Combo was named......
First come, first served.
Please note a price drop to $200!!
Congrats to the winners!

Congrats to the winners! There are so many winners that I feel like one, myself. By osmosis.
