We had a thread about flying a while back. A lot of people on here fly, if I recall.

Some even use planes.

I would love to get my licence but I would need more money and time... and my wife is too worried about it still.

Money and time are the biggest limitations for most people. It is not cheap, and the time requirements for in-the-air fly time is more than most people can handle (myself included)...
I always thought that it would be fun to have an ultralight or something, for cost and licensing, but still I don't have time. Maybe when the kids are grown up.....

I'm a flying school dropout if that helps. Fear of heights.
I was OK with spins but stalls were more than I could handle.

No need to worry John, I am terrified of heights...as is a high percentage of professional pilots that I know. I don't believe my fear started until after I learned to fly because I walked way too many a bridge beam in my younger days and did some serious rappelling while in the service and the heights never bothered me in the least.
That's wild about the stalls and spins, one would typically believe the spins is what would scare the bejeesus out of somebody.
Ravi, I've been at it for over 25 years with a little over 10k hours in the air...if there's anything I can help you with shoot me a PM, I'll be glad to help!
Also, you know Ian is an avid pilot as well.
