WOW! Mark you really do nice work. It was great to see a recent photo of Pat Simmons of The Doobies. I met the Doobies back in my disc jockey days. Pat was surprisingly cultured and gentlemanly - a very nice guy. He had really good chops too.

Who the heck is "Willy Nelon"?  Jack (or shall we call you 'Alex'?), I'd have thought it more likely that you met Louis Armstrong or maybe Glenn Miller. How many decades were you a DJ, anyway?  Beautiful artwork, Mark. It was kind of you to share it with us.

I was a DJ for about 4 or 5 years. WNCR FM, Cleveland (1st pic); WHCN, Hartford (2nd pic). And, for you youngsters, that's a vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm record I'm cuing up.

Yes it is. We radio folk are very kinky. There are things that went on in those control rooms that I dare not speak of in public. 
(It was there for sound effects, though I can't recall anyone ever using it. If anyone did use it, it was probably the guy who did the morning shift)
