Yeah. Also, if you step on a crack, you'll break your mother's back. Didn't believe in that one as a kid. Instead, we had cootie buttons on the sidewalk. Sometimes in the street, too.

I think they were the rivets hammered into the sidewalks. I tried Google to find a pic, but no luck.
