I am thinking about getting the m-22's, vp 100, and either the m-2's or qs-4's as surround but don't know which to use as surround. My room is relatively small and my surround speakers will be very close to my bed from which i will watch tv from. Your help is much appreciated.

Since your surrounds will be close to the listening area, I recommend you go with the QS4s for better dispersion. They are very forgiving when it comes to placement, and do a fantastic job.

I have QS4's when I go in my dorm room, and when my ear is literally 6 inches away from one speaker, it sounds like it is much further away, the QS4's and QS8's do an amazing job.

One more vote for the QS4s, they disperse the sound and it then envelops you rather having it thrown at you, especially when the speaker is close to you.
