The little missus and myself, along with another couple saw Eric Clapton and Robert Randolph in Tampa, FL., last night. It was an extremely awesome show and an added bonus to see that Doyle Bramhall II was EC's sideman for the event. Man did they sound great. We're seeing B.B. King tomorrow night in Melbourne, can't wait! As you can tell, photography isn't my calling.

I must say, I'm a bit jealous. Good to hear you and Jan had a great time.

I just got back from my daughters year end concert at her highschool. It started off with a brass quartet and a flute trio and finished off with a full (mini) symphony orchestra playing Symphony no. 5 from Dvorak's New World Symphony.
I was absolutely blown away by what a bunch of inspired teenagers can do!! The school is supposed to have the best or one of the best music programs in the country. After tonight I believe it.

Well it wasn't last night however my wife and I went to see Rush last Thursday in Vancouver. All I can say is Rush were in overdrive for this concert! I hate to admit it but this show was much better than the concert I attended last year in Washington state. The sound was spectacular and the boy's were in fine form. Great seats too as we were ten rows up on Geddy's side and about six rows back from the stage. Had an unobstructed view of Mr. Peart :-) The revised set list was a nice addition. Too bad there isn't a DVD of this show.

Dude. You're giving medic8r a stiffie with that description. I guess he'll be able to scrape off all the gum under his desk now. He might have to raise his seat though.
