Ha, you're funny. But looks aren't everything.

I might want to get in on this sampler CD thang, but I'm just in the process of selecting songs.
How nuts is everybody going regarding notes or labeling? I hope "not very".

Tom, I've thought about that, too. In my head I want to include notes, but I think I'll just include a track list with artist, song, and album.
C'mon, man, everybody's doing it!

You mean you're actually gonna label these discs? I can't even bring myself to label my own cd's. Wasn't too good about labeling tapes back in the day, either. I was kinda hoping the info would make it's way onto the disc with the songs. Which brings me to my question and your laugh for the day- How does one go about burning actual cd type songs onto a cd? If that is in fact what we're doing here. I've only dealt with mp3's, never had a call for doing anything with cd files other that encoding to mp3. Is there an option in eac for this?
I would suggest starting a thread and posting notes, playlists, etc. for the various cd's in that. Good evidence for the lawyers when they send us up the river for all this.

I'm not labeling the CD with anything other than a descriptive title (pmbuko's Axiom Mix #2) and a date. I've given the title, artist, album listing to the people who've requested a copy.
The last time we did this a few participants took the time to write up some notes for each track. It was definitely cool to read through those. As for music quality, I actually didn't re-rip anything and I only have purchased digital versions of much of the stuff on the disc I made, so if people have a problem with that, tough udders.

No label for the CD, but I'm thinking of typing up a track listing.
