Hey wid (and everybody), who is that character, anyway? I can't figure it out. Gotta properly credit you in the cast.

Then we seem to be at an impasse.

I suspect he is a Whatnot Hunter. See here

Nope, found a pic of the hunters from that episode, and he's not in there.

So, if I count correctly, 38 Muppet characters (multiples counting as multiples) have been claimed or assigned, and of those, 27 have Muppet avatars.

Awesome!

If we don't count the 5 Axiom staff who were assigned characters (Ian, Amie, Jean-Claude, Alan, Debbie - although Amie did more or less assign herself and Debbie), then we have 27/33 = 82% avatar participation in this group project.

I say we twist some more arms until JohnK, chesseroo, prototype3a, spiffnme, jakewash, and BBIBH comply with the will of the people.

AVATARS!

AVATARS!!!

Completely missed that you had Beaker already. But my lab is short handed, so Ive got room. Seriously, we're down to one chemist (me) which leave me doing 90% of the bench work. So I'll take all the Beakers I can get.Scott

No problem, and I was joking anyways. There can be two. If you are actually a chemist then I think Beaker certainly fits best. Maybe I can change to another unclaimed Muppet like Sam the Eagle. Is that is allowed?

Dave, You are a gentleman and a scholar (please note the mortar board on Sam!). Yes, I'm really a chemist. Been in industry 20-odd years now and I've really had fires at the bench and I didn't look too much different than our friend Beaker here when it happened.

As a newer mbr to the board I thought I would choose the oldest muppet - Pierre the French Rat - mais oui

Pierre the French Rat was one of Jim Henson's first puppets, and the oldest surviving today. Pierre was created in a comic strip that Henson drew for his high school yearbook in 1954 -- and when he had the opportunity to create puppets for The Junior Morning Show in 1955, Pierre was embodied as a puppet made of plastic wood.

Pierre later appeared in Sam and Friends.

The Pierre puppet is held by the Jim Henson Company Archives; it's been put on display in traveling exhibits.

The original Pierre comic strip, "Pierre the French Rat Visits NHS," is reprinted in the 2001 book Jim Henson's Designs and Doodles.

Actually Pierre is 3 years older than I am
