You will all enjoy this then. She was supposed to play in Halifax this summer in neighboring Nova Scotia, as part of the annual big outdoor concert. (actually, was it last summer? OMG can't remember..) Anyways, A local reporter wrote a story about how Celine Dion was nice but he was disappointed because Halifax was more of a rock and role town.

Within a week, she had canceled her stop in Halifax with her manager (husband I believe) blabbering on about how she didn't feel wanted there.

I say we give the reporter the key to the city or some other award of honor and we give Celine the award for the biggest inflated ego of all time.

The wife and I are going to a Merle Haggard show tonight. I'm not much of a country fan but I really do like ol Merle's music.

I saw Melissa Etheridge last night for the first time.... one of my favorite shows from the last couple of years.

So far I've had Foghat, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Brooks and Dunn, Charlie Daniels, Levon Helm and Phil Lesh this year.

There's 20 or so more coming this season, but I'm most looking forward to Jethro Tull, Peter Frampton, CSN&Y, Styx, Boston, John Fogerty, Live and Blues Traveler.

Great news, Mark. I remain jealous. The only one of those that I've seen is Live, who were really good in Richmond last year.

I would definitely look forward to Jethro Tull, CSN&Y, Styx, and Boston.

Is Tommy Shaw back with Styx? I did see him open for Rush in 1988, I think. Or was it 1990? One of those tours.

I'm so jealous of Mark and the concerts he's seen or will see.

Mark how was Levon Helm?

Oohh - is it really CSN& Y that you will be seeing or just CSN? I would love to see CSN, but would kill to see CSN&Y.

Seen CSN&Y. They were really good, although Y has a tendency to rip into really thrashy guitar solos at strange times.

Other than that, they were great.

Steven Stills is barely hacking it anymore. It's really too bad.
