Very neat concept.
Our artistic additions in the basement reno were similar, thinking that into the future we may tire of the look and would require more renos if something were built as a more permanent feature (e.g. you painted bricks on the walls rather than installing real brick). Instead our artistic trim come from Inuit carvings, paintings, photos and prints which one can change around with room colors if boredom strikes you down.
I love the chairs and was torn between those and 'twosome' chaise loungers. We took the loungers.

That is one beautiful basement!!! Wow. Stunning. Very good ideas. The ceiling makes me feel like I'm in Caesar's in Las Vegas.
