Sat 4th row for The Who @ Mohegan Sun the other night - great show as usual for these 60-somethings, they never disappoint. Even played a few tracks off Who Are You, including Sister Disco. They did not play much from Endless Wire this time around.
Of interesting note was the opening band Inward Eye from Canada - a 3 piece band which sounded like a bit of Clash meets The Who. Their energy was great. Probably the best performance from an unknown opening band that I have seen. Has anyone heard of them?

If this is the same band, and I'm sure it is, Inward Eye I'm pretty sure I heard them in a bar we wandered into during a conference in Vancouver last year. I wouldn't have remembered the name except when you mentioned "trio" and "Clash" it triggered the memory. I really enjoyed them but the stuffier people in my group found them too loud. I wouldn't have expected those people to like anything in the rock genre anyways. I thought they had a old but actually refreshing sound from the radio norm and tons of stage energy. I'd see them again if they came around.
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

Got guested into Finger Eleven last night. Really good rock show, even the opening act "The Dudes" from Calgary, but boy did I ever feel like the dirty old man (I must've gone to a really lame high school). I felt even older when, after standing for two hours I had to click every joint back into place and had no interest in joining the bands at a club on the other side of (a very small) town.

Was at Hamilton Place last night and enjoyed: Dvorak - Symphony No.7, op.70, D minor Brahms - Violin Concerto, op.77, D major
not my normal fare but I quite enjoyed it.

I’m armed and I’m drinking. You don’t want to listen to advice from me, amigo.
