I love his stuff. Have one of his CDs and have enjoyed the Comedy Central specials.
Does he still do the talking in the voice of the audience stuff?
"I'm a manatee! Yeah, whatever, sea cow."
Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

Yeah, the voice is the best part. One his best lines is:
The reason I'm so pale is my mother is from Sweden and my father is Elton John.

Or, even better, I think he said his mother was Elton John...
I forgot the hot pocket stuff. Also great. The breakfast hot pocket: "GOOD MORNING! You're about to call in sick!"
Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

Oh, about a month ago I saw Buckethead in concert. He was opened by "That One Guy". That One Guy has a VERY interesting...instrument. http://www.that1guy.com/

Hey, I saw That 1 Guy perform a while back. I liked his instrument. The CD I bought pretty much sucked. The sound quality struck me as especially bad, but it was before I had a nice sound system. I should pop it in again.

I should pop it in again. I have the "Moon is Disgusting" album. My friend and I enjoy it for what it is, funny lyrics with cool sounds. I think the sound quality is actually really good. With my new Beyer DT-770 headphones I've been rediscovering some of my techno music, that 1 guy sounds pretty awesome on them. Might actually give it another listen right now...

I have Songs in the Key of Beotch, and it seems to be an older issue of it than the one on his website. I'm tempted to try out his DVD.

Tuesday night (12/9/08) I caught the Black Crowes at the Hub in Fargo, ND. It was a great show in a small venue-less than 800 people. Great show-Luther Dickinson played some amazing guitar. The Robinson Brothers didn't play any of the Crowes big hits, but for me it didn't matter. Living in far western Minnesota doesn't afford a lot of opportunity for me to see big acts and it was a real treat to see a high caliber show in a small club. Dickinson was so good I've been listening to nothing but the North Mississippi All-Stars for the last few days. Now we are hunkering down for what should be the first real blizzard of the year. My wood stove is blazing and the snow blower is hooked up to the tractor and ready to go.
