My first viewing of Wall-E left me unimpressed, but I think that that was due largely to the fact that it was in a movie theater instead of my Axiom HT.

Oh yeah, and the fact that it was Nolan's first movie theater experience, meaning he fussed and needed constant attention, may have had something to do with it.
Repeated viewings will tell the true tale.

... the worst Pixar movie I have ever seen. Pixar's film catalog is stellar, though I do agree w/ you that Wall-e 's screenplay was the weakest of all of them, IMHO. I can't really tell why; I found it cheeze, predictable and somewhat preachy. Was it a horrible movie? ... no way! Howard the Duck is the worst movie ever ('Disaster Movie' is close behind)

WALL E wasn't my favorite either, Cam. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but it just wasn't doing much for me...

I found it cheeze, predictable and somewhat preachy. I would say that is a good assesment.

I liked it more on the second viewing. It's not my favorite Pixar movie, but I'd say it's on par with Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc. I'm still waiting for the Pixar movie that I love without reservation, though.

CV, the Incredibles is the one you can love unconditionally. Also, Toy Story and Toy Story 2. And Cars.
