HELP, can't get the UHU off!

Help!
Used way too much UHU tack it on the speaker stands, now i can't get my m3's off. Anybody know how i can safely solve this problem?

What is the materiel the M3s are attach to? Wood, steel, aluminum…

the speaker stands are made of steel. and there's just way too much adhesive. they wont budge.

Hmmm. I wouldn't recommend trying to pry it off or it will likely stip the vinyl finish from the bottom of your speakers. If you can't find a chemical solvent to loosen th adhesive, you may have to resort to using a cable-type saw to work your way through the adhesive.

WD-40 can be effective on difficult adhesives but proceed very cautiously, a few drops at time to avoid soaking the speakers surface more than necessary.

What I would use a heat gun to heat the bass up. This will work better then you mite think.

alright, i'll try the heat thing although i dont have heat gun. tried the wd-40 and it didnt do much.

If you are using a heat gun be very conservative with it. They give off an impressive amount of heat that can burn wood or cause paint to ignite (voice of experience).

tried the cable saw, the space was too narrow. the heat worked out. didnt have a heat gun so i used a blow dryer and heated the stand. came right off! thanks for the help. wow im impressed with this forum.
