Yes, but I was weary of Qwest's brand of evil.

It's too bad you don't get a Netgear modem with that service, then you would have gotten to watch this quirky, no Disturbing, set up video. Sucking back your strawberry data milkshake.... I think this is a candidate for 'the worst movie you ever watched to see if it gets worse' thread.

So, the reliability of my connection to Comcast is flaky, sometimes. I called and talked to a human being the other day, who informed me that my existing cable modem is past end-of-life, which means that they basically can't guarantee availability of my service.
After resolving that I never want to speak with individuals at this tech support center again, I also mentally capitulated to buy a new cable modem.
A previous call to Comcast's sales department revealed that the (seemingly knowledgeable American lady) tech didn't recommend the Motorola SB6121 AT ALL. I think she actually said "don't get that one".
So, I'm looking for the value point for a retail Docsis 3.0 cable modem. Currently thinking that the Motorola SB6141 might be it.
What say you?

Sorry, kinda my thing but our company is pretty much all fiber Internet now with DSL in the rural areas (like where I live, sniff). Cable is the competitor. So I have nothing valuable to add.
I just wanted to chime in to annoy Bob with further post recycling.

See his anti-recycling post for further details. Better yet, cut and paste it all and start a new thread. Also, fill it with emotes.

Maybe I'll just cut and paste it into this one.
