You've got aaaaalll the Tom Bakers?
Damn, you may have a better archive than the Beeb!
Let me rephrase that. AFAIK I have all the Tom Baker episodes as I haven’t done an official inventory. However, I have watched them from beginning to end and there are no breaks in the story between Bakers “regenerations.“ Also, AFAIK the BBC’s archive contains all the colour episodes from Jon Pertwee to the present. I had looked into it when I read somewhere that they were looking for some of the old stuff thinking I might be able to make a contribution. Some of the earlier stuff is still missing but I heard a lot was recovered some even from private recordings. It’s was lucky how I got them too. I had been hit or miss in recording them but a friend was very passionate about it. However, he was prone to sudden changes of direction and completely lost interest when I happened to be home on leave. So he traded me all the Baker episodes one for one for blank tapes. Oh yeah.... a couple of others on that channel were the original "Battlestar Gallactica" and "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century"...
I gave them "three thumbs up" also...
I love almost everything Glenn A. Larson did. The original Galactica is something I’ve been wanting to get for awhile.

That's still pretty cool! I've wanted to watch some older Doctor Who, but the DVD releases seem pretty haphazard, and I'm kind of anal about watching stuff in order.

Wow! I totally forgot about that one. I saw it when it came out in the theater. I’ve always hated Don Johnson since his role in “Miami Vice” but I loved that movie especially the ending. It definitely belongs on my “cult-classic” shelf, thanks for the reminder. That's still pretty cool! I agree with you about watching things in order especially something like “Dr Who.” Even though most of the Baker episodes were trilogies they still lead into one another and the whole series is full of Story arcs in Doctor Who They are also a bit pricy.

Oooh... I just spent a fair amount of time reading all of that stuff on Wikipedia. Anyone know where to get their hands on the specials from the new Doctor Who? Sci-fi has been a little haphazard in airing them--I've certainly never seen Time Crash!

Yesterday, we went to go see Pixar's newest film Up. I found it delightful and entertaining. I've always enjoyed Pixar's films and this one is no exception. There are some beautifully moving moments in this film that I found quite touching. There are also plenty of laughs and adventure.
Oh, we decided to see the 2D version rather than the 3D. I think I wanted to enjoy the movie for what it is the first time, without the distraction of 3D, as there is so much beautiful eye candy on the screen.

The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien
It's funny so far, which I guess I should have expected.

Oh, and Sean, I need to go see Up, too. Hopefully I can convince someone to go with me.

I'm alone at home until the 9th. I'll probably see at least Star Trek, alone, and possibly Up.
