Here's the final form of #2. I like how it makes me think of a statue overrun with vines. My coworker thought it looked a little scary, but I don't think there's anything wrong with that considering whose head it's supposed to be. I still think the snake handles could be done a little better/more subtly, but I'm happy with how it turned out. It will be fun to show it off at work.

Yes, that is more like what I envisioned. It is definitely creepy, and like you said, statuesque. I really think it's captures the gist of Medusa.
