Sounds like a great show and a very good time Jorge, was Luther Dickinson playing with the Black Crowes or was it a Black Crows + NMAS venue? I know Chris Robinson and NMAS has worked together in the past and yes, Luther can really play. I really like the Mississippi hill country blues music, great stuff.
Good luck with the weather.

Luther was playing with the Crowes. A Crowes/NMAS joint tour would have been great. Maybe next time.

Wasn't last night, but on Friday night, me and my wife, my brother and his wife, saw Ron White in concert. He puts on a fantastic show. His opening act was very good as well. Highly recommended if you like his brand of humor.

He's great. I've only seen him on TV, but I like his stuff. "You can't fix stupid" is a great bit.

I watched Jeff Beck live on Palladia channel last weekend. Great concert, good musicians. Jeff is touring with what I thought was a 13 years old girl playing the bass. My wife and I had a bet of who could guess the bassist age the closest; My wife won, the bassist was 20 years old at the time the concert was recorded ('07). I swear, she looked 13 at most 15 ... Tal Wilkenfield (the bassist) bio mentions that she started playing the bass at 16, so in measly 4 years after learning the instrument she's touring with a legend and one of the greatest drummer alive, pretty amazing. Anyway... great concert. This Wednesday my wife and I are going to see Diane Krall live, I have mix emotions about it, her latest album is mostly a snoozer, so I hope she keep her new stuff to a minimum, we'll see...

I have always found female bass players intriguing.

Tragically Hip! Jun 17 Moore Theater Seattle, WA. Seen every tour since Great Canadian Party in '90 at UBC in Vancouver. The Hip's lesser success in the States is our advantage. Smaller venues. Sat 3rd row and have to say it was one of the better shows I can recall seeing. As always Gordie and the boys entertained. Especially liked the semi acoustic action at the beginning of the second set. I can thank you Canadians for some great music and speakers.
BTW: The only other band that I've seen more performances of is also of maple leaf blood, Rush. Havn't missed a tour since Signals. ^ Hence my username.

How is the Moore Theatre for a concert? I am going to see Porcupine Tree at the Moore in September and was wondering what kind of a venue it is as I have never seen a concert there.

Getting rested for our annual Canada Day music and fireworks festival. The Lineup doesn't have as much big name talent as last year but I like that they are giving a bit of spotlight to premier local bands that are quickly gaining a name for themselves. Aspiring locals. Meaghan Blanchard CV, you might like this one. Rather Regina like in looks and song. Many awards for only 19 years of age. Vishten World renowned Arcadian group. Two Hours Traffic (Local but their songs can be heard in the background of many big network TV show like The OC and Grey's Anatomy.) Paper Lions and many more. Bigger names include.... Simple Plan Theory of a Deadman and Daughtry I figured they didn't need links.
With great power comes Awesome irresponsibility.

Old theater. If you were into Pearl Jam you may remember the Evenflow video where Eddie jumped off the balcony... that was the Moore. Full bar downstairs if you partake. Two balcony levels, top, super steep. All-in-all you can't go wrong. Sips
