Going to see Kiss tonight at the John Labbat center here in London. $25 per person for level 300, that's about as far away as you can get, however, no real bad seats in that place.

Chances are you will still feel the heat from their huge pyro effects. After seeing them in Montreal 7 or 8 years ago, I blame them for Global Warming.

LOL, I made a compilation disk for my wife of all of Kiss's best songs. She only knew a couple and didn't really care for any of their music. I told her it's not about the music, it is about the show, including pyro, breathing fire, and yes, the blood. These guys aren't great musicians or song writers. Just very effective showmen. Anyways, she likes the show Family Jewels, so I convinced her to go with me tonight.

Dave was awesome as usual! I didn't care too much for Willie Nelson by himself during the opening act, but Dave called him up on stage and they sang Dave's Gravedigger song together.. it was pretty neat sounding and basically kicked ass. All of Dave's songs from the new Big Whiskey Album are AWESOME live... plenty of opportunities for instrumental jam sessions that Dave is famous for when playing live. They had like a 5 minute violin solo which was cool. My seats were originally up in the nose bleed section. Here is the pic of my first seat: I decided that my seat sucked so I went downstairs and hopped the wall when security was looking the other way. The plan worked perfect and I made it up to the 4th row! Here is a pic from where I ended up at: Much better!

Ask me again on November 20th and I'll tell you that I saw Josh Ritter and The Swell Season in Los Angeles on the previous night. I'm very excited about this show. http://www.livenation.com:80/edp/eventId/414084/?c=wgt-alt0509
