Bridge Concert last night. First time for me, not my normal taste in music but it helps when work comps it and you go VIP style. Hard to go back to slumming it when I have to pay on my own...
I looked forward to Monsters of Folk. I got the album and really liked the Dear God song. Bummed they didn't sing it. I normally hate Coldplay but Chris Martin was very entertaining. Sheryl Crow was pretty good. I really liked No Doubt, mostly cause Gwen is HAWT. She was also the only performer to turn around and sing directly at the Bridge School kids seated on stage. You could see those kids light up, getting the attention they wanted. Very cool and a cool nod to the purpose of the concert, she should get an extra ticket to heaven for that.

She's already going to hell for mispronouncing Harajuku so much, unfortunately. That's not to say I don't like her. She still makes me laugh.

I tried to go to the Bridge concert every year. I sat on the lawn all but one time, though.

Yeah, I would say that previous years probably had better line ups.

Took my kids to see Blue Man Group last night. It was an excellent show. I don't know how to classify these guys other than eclectic.
P.S. When They did Teenage Wasteland my daughter exclaimed "I love this song" She is a great fan of Floyd, The Beatles, The Who... I think I brung her up right!

Saw the Wood Brothers on Saturday night - incredible talent. Their first album "Ways Not To Lose" is my go-to subwoofer setup disc...lots of dynamic upright bass. Also happens to be a pretty fine album!

Watched U2 live from the Rose Bowl on YouTube Sunday night. A mighty impressive stage and lighting setup.

I watched a bit of that too, Rock_Head. I've also seen two shows this tour. The youtube stream didn't do it justice, I think.

I have an opportunity to attend the concert this evening in Vancouver however the seats are up in the nose bleeds (roof level)so I think I will pass on this one.

That's too bad. The stage is enormous - even that nosebleeds give a good view of the whole spectacle.
