Oh, I love pinball games! I downloaded Zen Pinball for the PS3. It seems like they can never quite get the camera right on these games.

And I like to keep tabs on my balls at all times too.

Pinball games are great, even with the frustration. I would really like to buy an actual pinball machine, but I've never been able to set aside that much money for one.

I also have Pinball FX from Xbox Live Arcade, along with all of the extra tables that have been released. Fun stuff. I think I did download Zen Pinball for the PS3 when I had it, but I don't remember playing it. I guess I'll look into it again when I get around to getting a Slim.

I know what you mean about the camera, which is why I'd love to have an actual machine.

Me too. I'd love to have a game room and put some different pinball tables in there. I'm not very good at them, but it doesn't stop me from trying and having fun!

Zen Pinball was ten bucks to get. You only get four tables, but they are diverse and fun. Shoulda been five bucks or free, I think.

The only problem with playing pinball on your monitor is that you can't put phone books under the front of it to slow the ball down. \:D

One of my first jobs was in a gas bar, you know, when the gas attendant actually put the gas in the car. Anyway, we had a pretty cheap boss who paid us something like $2.15 hr which I'm sure he thought was too generous. So what does he do? he buys a beat-up, old used pinball machine and puts it by the door of the garage to try and get his money back off us . Anyway, when he went out on a service call, we'd get the phone books out and prop the front of the pinball machine up. The ball would get hung up on one of the pins and run the score way up....WHACK!!...free game!...WHACK...another free game \:D ! We'd run up about 10-20 free games and play it in between serving cars through the day. At the end of the week, the boss gets his keys out to open the pinball machine to check his little hoard, only to find a couple of dollars in there. He was a little bewildered because the game was being played so much, and it took him a few weeks to figure out what we were doing...I remember him telling his wife "Those little B#$t@rd$ have been putting phone books under the machine!!"

Alas, the pinball game was taken away \:\(

Just read Gran Turismo 5 is not coming to Japan until March and the US some undefined but short time after. So much for Christmas 2009!

Looks like I'll have to get Metal Gear Solid 4 to hold me over.

Just the PS3...no Xbox. I've never tried any of the Forza games (or even heard of them until earlier this week acutally). Started playing Gran Turismo with the first one and have played every one since. Looking forward to see what they can do with the series on the PS3.
