Finally started playing Bioshock and I like it. Has to be the easiest game to pick up I’ve ever played. I’m glad I waited to play this with the right setup it just wouldn’t have been the same in the apartment.

The atmosphere in Bioshock is superb. I can imagine playing it on your system and screen is quite an experience!

Has anyone played Torchlight? It looks like a game I could enjoy.

I was just looking at Torchlight the other day. I added it to the Christmas list (I tend to just buy things I want so I'm trying to hold off to actually have a list this year).

I played Mythos back when the guys that did Torchlight were putting that together, and of course used to play Diablo (1 and 2...looking forward to 3), so I'm guessing I'd like Torchlight. My only concern from the one review I did read is that it is pretty similar to Diablo. I don't know that it will feel like something new, as much as a rehash of Diablo. I enjoyed Diablo enough years ago that maybe a rehash would be ok!

I never played the original Diablo, but I did like II a lot. I wouldn't mind a rehash.

Bad news tonight. One of my friends beat my high score on Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook, and by a lot. She got over 750,000, when I've only been up to 615,000. I can no longer brag.

Exploring the world of Rapture is a real treat.

Yes it is very cool. The atmosphere of this game is great for a dark room and surround sound. I’m happy the interface is so easy and that it sort of gives you a tutorial as you go. I’m not even sure if it came with directions… so easy a cave man can do it. ;\)

I also like the way you can listen to the diaries and still walk around investigating things, much better way to keep the flow of the game going than using cut scenes. The only game I’ve played so far that has done the cut scenes well is Mass Effect.

Mass Effect was a very good game.

The storyline in Bioshock is well done...the best. My advice is to take your time and try to listen to as many diaries as possible... Andrew Ryan is also one of my all time favorite video game characters. \:\)

I’m forcing myself to take my time. But you know you’re playing a great game when you need to set an alarm to get to bet before the sun comes up, especially this time of year. ;\)
