How about John Wayne as Genghis Khan (now that was a bad movie) but what do you expect when the marketing people get involved. Most any of the crap that comes out of Hollywood gets anglicized and dumbed down for an American audience. The power of marketing I guess.

If we manage to get together here in the near future you can borrow copy if you like.

Oh, thanks, Dean! But I have the series!

I bought it shortly after I got hooked after seeing it on Cartoon Network late one night.

That reminds me, let me look at my calendar and settle on a day for a GTG!

That's exactly what my sister was ranting about when I talked to her on the phone. She didn't understand the casting choices at all.

Still working my way through Season 1 of Lost. Good stuff. Wonder why I never was interested in it when it was in real time? The HD streaming feed from Netflix (through my Samsung BR) is really very good.

I watched Away We Go last night. I like both Maya Rudolph and John Krasinski, but I didn't relate all that well to either of their characters. There was some funny stuff, but there was annoying stuff, too. Maybe the music made it seem more pretentious than it was.

Today I watched select scenes out of Ghost in the Shell 2.0. I agree with Dean that the audio is really cool, and that some of the new CG stuff is out of place. I couldn't commit to watching the whole movie. The pace is too slow for me most of the time.
