We have one disc left, so three episodes only. The last one we watched was Noshing and Moshing.

I've probably averaged watching it once a year, and it still gets me every time. I still envy the people who get to watch it for the first time.

Rush R30 bluray which is really starting to grow on me. You might want to put some wine or beer on that.

I finished the first season of Better Off Ted, and I liked it a lot. Very quick with a lot of good material. That Andrea Anders is an attractive woman, too.

Just watched the series “GunxSword.” It’s a 26 episode anime split up on 7 disks with each episode lasting about 20 minutes w/o opening/preview/closing.
The animation is ok (looks a lot like “Cowboy Bebop”) but nothing extra special. The audio is also ok actually having some pretty low bass and some but not exceptional surround action. The music is mostly forgettable.
This thing deserves and award for being one of the most inconsistent anime I’ve ever seen. I borrows from, no down right rips off, about 4 other anime that were popular in the U.S., but without getting them consistently right. Some episodes or parts of them are some of the best I’ve seen, however the weak points are really bad. At times it almost seems like it’s trying to be a parody but it’s not.
For me the weakest part of the series was the mecha part. I’m not big on giant robots battling each other which is a major part of the story. About 1/3 of the battles were interesting the others I just fast forwarded through since all that really matters is the outcome.
Overall I’d give this series a “C” or 2.5/5 stars but if you like mecha or are willing to just FF through those parts the maybe bump it up to a “B-” or a 3/5 stars.
