I grudgingly watched the new Brothers and Sisters with my wife last night. Calista Flockhart is still not dead.

Canada beat USA in the World Juniors ;)) was what I was watching WOOT! Can't wait for tomorrow night. Should be a nail biter of a game. While we wait, here is the explanation as to why us Canadians prefer more curve in their sticks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtIl06KCp_s

Also, has anybody broken away from their HT Man Dens to go see Avatar yet? I can't recall ever being so totally immersed in a movie. Even if you don't like sci-fi, you owe it to yourself to go see this on the big screen in 3D. Absolutely STUNNING.
My one and only minor gripe is that the action scenes in 3d had a blurry effect sometimes. Maybe it is a limitation of the 3d technology but to me, it's as if they used too slow of a frame rate. You soon forgot about it though and just enjoyed the experience.
In fact, if any movie deserves it's own thread in an AV forum, it's this one, but I'm too lazy to retype.

The wife and I hope to go see it when we can get a babysitter. We are lemmings, following the hype.
But, seriously, just about everyone I've talked to has said "Wow" in some way or another about this movie.
Bears, beets, Battlestar Galactica.

How do the 3d glasses fit over presctription eye glasses? (or do they?)
That is the only thing keeping me from seeing Avatar in 3D at our local IMAX

I had that problem all over Disney. There are so many 3D (and 4D) movies, and the combo didn't work well, so I had to keep choosing 3D and blurry or 2D and clear!

Our family enjoyed Avatar. The IMAX had 3D glasses specifically designed to fit over prescription lenses.

Do others see a lot of blurriness when watching 3D movies with 3D glasses, like "The Polar Express"?
