Want to crack open BSG season 3 and 3.5 but I think I might need to wait till the move is done.

I've been watching Conan O'Brien the last few nights. Pretty funny stuff.

Just got done re-watching “Cutie Honey: The Movie” which is a live action anime/manga. I watched it before in the apartment but have to say that the smaller screen and having to keep the audio turned down didn’t do it justice. I’m not sure how they film these live action movies but every one I’ve seen looks sharp and vivid and although this is standard def it looked better than many Blu-rays I’ve seen. The audio was even better than the picture with some good surround and subwoofer action. You can probably tell by the name this is not a show that’s meant to be taken seriously but it is actually quite entertaining if you like this genre. It certainly doesn’t hurt that it stars Eriko Sato, former gravure idol, reprising that role in several scenes. Nothing but light entertainment but it was worth watching again. I watched the subtitled version both times but after reading the Animenewsnetwork review in which they give the dub a thumbs up I guess I have an excuse to watch it once more. I just watched an amazing photorealistic CG movie showpiece called The Third & The Seventh. Definitely watch this full-screen and with the volume up. I was completely floored by it. Here's the artist's own info about it: A FULL-CG animated piece that tries to illustrate architecture art across a photographic point of view where main subjects are already-built spaces. Sometimes in an abstract way. Sometimes surreal. That was incredible Peter. List me as totally blown away. It looks so good it’s almost scary. I understand the reason for his imagery but the only think I didn’t like were the repeated shots of the cameras which I found distracting, but that takes nothing away from the quality of the work.

I've been watching the second season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I was a little worried it wouldn't be as good as the first season when I first started watching it, but I have to admit there was some pretty creative writing as the season progressed. Overall, I'm happy with what they were doing, but of course it's too bad they leave you hanging.

I went to the theater tonight to watch Guy Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes. I liked it. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, but there was enough there to keep you entertained. I'm glad they didn't go with Moriarty as the main antagonist in this first outing, as I'm hoping they can do even more with a sequel.

Oh, and of course I kept thinking the whole time that the audio will be much better at home on Blu-ray.

I watched Moon on Blu-ray the other day. It's a great movie and one of the best Sci-Fi films to come out in a while. If you like Sci-Fi and haven't seen it, you need to buy/rent it.
I'm new here.

That's on my list. I'm looking forward to watching it.

True Romance
I hadn't seen it before. If nothing else, it shows that Quentin Tarantino directs his writing a lot better than Tony Scott does. The soundtrack was getting on my nerves, too. There was some entertaining stuff, but overall it didn't do a whole lot for me, which I'm attributing to the execution.
