What size of spade or fork connectors would work the best on the QS8 binding posts? 1/4" or 5/16"

Thanks,

Dustyn

I got 3/8s on mine, but it is a real bitch trying to get the QS8 on the wall bracket using spades.

Spades are a little tricky with the QS-8s, but I found if you come in from the opposite side so that the connectors fit inside that cup shape, you can get the speakers to mount flush with the wall, even with 12awg cable which is what Im using. I found it easier to take the screw completly off the post to allow room to manuver the connectors into place.

If you need a little more explanation Ill send ya a picture of what Im talkin about.

Just use bare wire. It's much easier, and you won't hear any difference.

How do you know I won't hear any difference?

Bananas, spades, or bare wire. The point of them is ease of use, not sound quality. There should be, by design, no difference in sound.

Yes Luis, unless the laws of physics have been overturned it means that there isn't any.
