Oh my god! They finally did it, an M80 that you can put sideways, perfect!

My HT room is really begging me to buy this. And at a price point that is pretty good.

I guess I know where some of my tax refund is going.

Will Axiom take my VP150 in on a trade, anybody know how much?

Worfzara,

Axiom has a trade up program so you will be able to trade in the VP150. There is a link available somewhere(I don't know where it is). You can also call them about this inquiry as well.

i called and asked, but was told that there will not be a trade up option for the vp150->vp180... that kind of leaves me in a quandary, i don't need 2 center channels... at least not for pre-orders... does anyone have any information to the contrary?

That doesn't surprise me, considering the discount they're already giving on it. I imagine once it's full production, there will be a trade-up.

I was planning to use my VP150 as a rear centre once I get the VP180. Good or bad idea?

I can see a flood of used VP150s on the market.

When I was looking to add a rear center I was told a direct radiating speaker was a bad idea.

Wow no trade in eh? That does stink. Is it harder for an amp to run two speakers in parallel if one of them is 4 ohm and the other one 6 ohm?

whao....now if only my wife will let me take away all those things under the TV and put this on the shelves....

but I think all will have to wait untill me get my new house with a proper HT room....

am thinking of M80s as L/R, VP180 as center, M60s as surround, QS8 as back surround and another pair or QS8 as side surround using Audeysey DSX wide...

hmmm...what am I gonna do with 1 extra VP150???

nvm..me go day dreaming 1st :p
