Anyone in or around Memphis TN that would not mind letting me hear their Axiom M22 setup?

Clay, the audition list is being revised and shows only Nashville owners in Tennessee. If there is someone in your area, it's unlikely that they'd happen to see your post. You might contact Axiom directly to see if any assistance would be available.

If you don't have a sub, get one. M22s + a sub are better than just M60s.

I have a sub. The M22's just don't fill the room with enough sound. They are great when listening at the couch, but where my eliptical is at towards the back of the room I am reading about 70 db. When exercising I want to hit about 85.
I auditioned at Merchmans his M80's and they will work, just wondering if a set of M60's will work for what I'm looking to do.
I am also looking to upgrade my tv so any cash I can save on the speakers would help. Then I need to save for the 4 position theater seating. This hobby is addicting and not cheap.

2packer. I have auditioned all 3 speakers at Axiom using an A/B switch. The M60 and M22 are almost identical in sound and all 3 speakers are excellent performers. I'm sure the M60 would work very well for you and you would be very happy with them.

Add a sub to the M60s and you will be VERY happy! I own both the M22s and the M60s...both with subs. With the M22s, I had a hard time meshing them with my sub where it sounds like "one". No problems with the M60s. But, I agree with pmbuko...M22s with a sub would be more satisfying than the M60s alone.
