Hope you like the latter half more than I did. Buffy went steadily down hill for me after the 4th season. Aww, that's too bad. Yeah, I liked the 3rd and 4th seasons more than the others so far. Xander hasn't been as fun. I like Anya, probably more than Cordelia, but somehow I still kind of miss Cordelia, as shallow of a character as she is. I haven't really liked how Willow's character has changed, either. While I agree that the strongest part of the show so far has been the character interaction, I am finding a lot of it forced and unsatisfying. Mark, don't take my comments too hard. I still don't regret watching the show.

I really liked the first season of Eureka. Starting with the Pilot movie the main characters were hitting on all cylinders. IMO the second season lost a step, but didn’t seem irrecoverable but then I lost track of it going into the third season when they started making character changes which I didn’t suspect I would like. I do have through season 3.0 so I might give it a watch here soon. Give the pilot a shot if you get the chance. If it doesn’t strike a cord with you then you won’t like the series.
I really liked the first season of the new Dr. Who but didn’t like the switch from Christopher Eccleston to David Tennant. Stuck with it but then they dumped Rose who’s character had kept me watching. I only stuck around for one more season because Freema Agyeman (Martha Jones) is smoking hot. So when she left I bailed the series for now. May watch it on DVD later down the road but I just didn’t see it worth keeping up with any longer.

Anya is a more “fun” character then Cordelia but IMO Cordelia’s very shallowness is her strength. She actually get some of the most witty snarky and most memorable lines in the show. If you want to see the Cordelia character fleshed out more watch “Angel.” She was the main reason I kept watching that show until it grew on me. I agree I don’t like the direction of Willow’s character nor that of Buffy for that matter. I think the change happened for me when they went from dealing with “school issues” to more complex real world issues in the characters lives.

I just wasted my life watching Lost. What a waste. That show ended crappily.

I like Eureka. I've been watching it as it comes out on Netflix.

That’s what I’ve started doing. I watched all but one episode of season 3.0 last night. Seems to have gotten back on track with the way I liked it. Also, IMO it’s always more fun to watch a show multiple episodes at a time. It makes it easier to get into the characters and story.
Now I’ve got to wait for season 3.5 to become available at Netflix since it’s still in my save queue.

Will be watching the finale of "24" tonight. Jack's been taking a lot of numbers lately....

Law & Order
So that was really the final episode of the series? I'm sad to see the show go. I never thought any of the spin-offs stood up to the original.
