Apparently a 5.8 quake nearby, and a similar one in Gatineau a minute or so later... that's the parking lot gossip anyways.
The best part was all the people calling & emailing customers and co-workers in Silicon Valley explaining that they were going to have to miss the meeting because of an earthquake.
We would have sounded more credible if the World Cup wasn't on at the same time.

Wheelz, when did it hit you? For me it started around 1:43pm and lasted about a minute. It happened around 1:50 and lasted about 10 seconds. It may have been longer as I was intently watching soccer. It'll be interesting to see how powerful it was as it takes quite a bit for my bed to resonate as it did. It's VERY heavy and I'm laying on an air mattress. All is well here, just freaky, that's all.

Here in Japan we have so many that is pretty much normal for us! There is one time that I though I was gonna die, the windows and doors were all shaking so badly and loud that I had to start praying. Taking in consideration I am not religious. Hopefully nothing bad happened!
Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it.

Interesting, so just the one earthquake then... so it would have probably been stronger at Axiom than here.
