I like Jay Baruchel, but he needs some better projects. The only thing I know him from is the voice work in How to Train Your Dragon. He's the lead, Hiccup. Until we looked it up on IMDB, my wife and I were convinced that the voice was Christian Slater's.

I'd say his best work is still in the show, Undeclared. Might be Seth Rogen's best work, too. And Charlie Hunnam's. And the other people whose names I don't know. Ha ha.

Another episode of Louie, then more Baccano! I'm liking Baccano! more than I did at first, but I still wish the storytelling was a bit more linear. It keeps jumping around in time, and I'm not yet sure it's helping the story to be told this way. I'll reserve final judgment until I've finished the series.

I got invited to the Hulu Plus preview, on the PS3 (with it's Plus subscription). Watched two episode of the Britcom, Spaced, and the first two parter of the new game show Minute to Win It. Might watch more Spaced, done with the dumb show.

I liked Spaced all right. Bits and pieces, anyway. I did end up giving the set to my sister, but I don't regret having watched it.

I will be watching Avatar to see how my HT set up holds up. Yesterday I watched Percy Jackson and it has been quite a pleasurable experience. Thought the movie was worse than it was because of the movie reviews I have read so far. The surround effects were really nice.

Joan Rivers on the Late Show was pretty good. I'm actually interested in watching the documentary about her now.

Watched Cold Souls on DVD from Netflix last night. Cool idea for a movie, but a little bland in execution, although I'm sure that was part of the intention. Ever watch one of those movies where you're not quite sure what you feel about it? Yeah, this was that kind of movie.

We finished watching season one of Dexter last night, we really like the show. The scary part is my wife is getting obsessed with it.

heh heh. Mine was too. Plus, she was heavy into the John Douglas books for a while on his life as the FBI's first profiler of mass murderers. Actually, the first couple of those are an interesting read. It's amazing what those guys can do with just a few visual clues.
