Good question! I was thinking that the "Main deck level" might be bigger, but the truth is, you can't tell HOW big it is. Also, on their website, I see that they have bands on weekends. As much as I love live music, it may not be a great choice if we all have to "shout" all night!

Firstly, thanks guys were thinking about my accessibility.
I just spoke to a lady at "On the Docks Pub", and they are wheel chair accessible (there entrance is street level). The one thing that sucks is that they don't take reservations. Even though I told her that it would probably be a group of 12 or so people from all over North America, she wouldn't budge and told me that I would have to speak to the manager.
I would imagine that reservations would be somewhat important for us, as we don't know the area. I forgot to ask if they have live music on Fridays, but I'm also not a huge fan of having to yell to each other to have a conversation
Hope that helps.
PS. Mark, I'm one of the guilty parties who hasn't sent you my cell phone information. It's a great idea, so I'll fire you off a PM now.

I'm sure there are lots of good places where we could get together Friday night. I was just looking at a street-level view around my hotel and saw this place: Kelsey's. Of course, I have no idea if the food/beer is good, and I can't find much info on the web, but this Facebook page says they're "good for groups"! I think local knowledge will be king here. I'll PM The Other Amie in case she doesn't follow this thread.

Kelsey's is a chain (we have one here in Peterborough). I've been to the restaurant numerous times, and although I've had good experiences, I've heard it's gone downhill recently (has very little bearing on the other restaurants in their chain), but thought I would mention it.
It is however a very good place for groups.
Edit-I know it's come up on the forum before, but Huntsville is a 20-25 minute drive from the Axiom plant. Just thought I'd give those that are staying near the plant, like me, a heads up.

Even though I've only been living up in Muskoka since January, I can help everyone out with this dilemma! The first thing to decide is where you want to have the get together. Huntsville is about 20mins from Dwight and you can pretty much forget about cabs to get back and forth. It's not that they don't exist, just that they are hard to arrange and very expensive. In Huntsville the best pub/watering holes are the already mentioned "On the Docks" pub and the Cottage Waterfront Grill ( http://www.huntsvillecottage.com) which is just across the bridge from On the Docks. The Cottage is probably the best choice for a big group. On the Docks is pretty small, unless the weather is nice enough to sit outside, and on nights with a band it gets even more crowded. They also don't have a fryer for those that are fans of deep fried food! If you'd prefer to get together somewhere closer to Dwight there is Muskoka on the Rocks ( http://www.muskokaontherocks.ca) in Hillside, about 10mins from Dwight, and the Bush Company ( http://www.thebushcompany.com) which is only 2mins by car from Axiom. Both have excellent food with Muskoka on the Rocks being a great place for steaks, ribs, etc. Bush Company has great wings, sandwiches, fries, etc. In terms of beer selection, Muskoka on the Rocks has some usual suspects like Keith's, Coors Light, along with Boddingtons and some microbrews like the local Lake of Bays IPA and Big Rock Brewery Ale, from Alberta. Bush Company only has Bud, Coors light, and Keith's and Keith's white on tap with a larger selection of bottled domestics and imports. If anyone has any questions or would like more details, please feel free to ask. Andrew

Thanks for the info Andrew.... great help! I'm not sure that anyone attending won't have a car... designated drivers might be an issue for some, though!

Amy L. hasn't yet told me where I'm staying.
Depending on where that may be, I can provide transport for 6 people (factory sound system, low end, sorry).
I'm purposely taking the Odyssey with all seats installed so I don't have enough room to bring really BIG stuff home!
I'm arriving Thur night and leaving Sunday a.m.
Oh, and I've never consumed alcohol, so I'm used to being the designated bus. Just don't ralph on the upholstery. OK?

An FYI #.
Last word from Amy L., I think there are going to be about 25+ of us, though I'm sure some snotty cliques will develop rather rapidly, splinter off, and drive 90 miles to a strip club.
