They even one shot killed the evil bad guy. Glad I waited for the rental. I need more coffee. For whatever reason, I read this as "Glad I waited for the musical". I honestly have no idea why.

Maybe that's your artsy-fartsy side trying to come out, Mark.

Was "coming out" a slip?

Artsy-fartsy side my ass ... that's just one of the numerous little indications that old age is creeping up on you Mark!

I think we shouldn't continue with this fartsy, coming out, my ass talk.

Beauty and the Beast on Blu-ray. I'd only seen it once back during its theatrical run. The animation is still impressive, and the audio is fun, too. The actual movie is a bit clumsy, which surprised me. A lot of the stuff just kind of happens with no real weight behind it. I still liked it, don't get me wrong. I just expected more since it's such a classic. I remembered not liking one part of the ending. I just don't think the prince's human form looks as cool as the Beast. It feels like Belle got a downgraded version.

Just watched episode 10 of “Caprica” on Hulu. As I watched the first half I was thinking that they had made some improvements, “tightened up the plotting” as one Syfy rep said they would but then it started showing signs it might wander off again. Still nothing to really grab me about this show, but I did figure out one of the things causing me not to care so much about it. It’s that there are really no likeable characters in it. I’ve read a couple suggestions that they brought it back early to try to generate interest before the end of the year when the actors contracts run out. Also had watched and episode of SGU last night. Fell asleep. I never fall asleep watching TV.

Thanks for the tip. I wasn't keeping track and had no idea Caprica was back on the air.

The only reason I found out was from having it selected for notification if it dropped into my Hulu queue.
