Wow, looking at the chart and seeing that the Average in US is 8.8 mb/s even though many people have 30-50 mb/s down in the US. It makes me wonder what the "fast" speeds are in japan if the average is near 100 mb/s!

Those are 2007 numbers. It's a fast changing market. It would be nice to have 2009 numbers at least and compare to see trends.

 Ours is part of a cable tv/internet package. I think it's about $40/month for the internet.
