Don't need a supermarket but I do keep 3 local butchers that I visit regularly very happy. smile

I watched Micmacs, pretty good, very good if you like Jean-Pierre Jeunet's stuff.

There seemed to be a part written for Audrey Tautou, but alas someone else got the role. So I followed it up with Hors de prix, which I had not seen since it's US release.

Oh, finally saw this year's Doctor Who Christmas special also. Can't wait for the new season to start.

I still need to watch that Audrey Tautou movie, and I definitely plan on checking out Micmacs at some point. I just got the Canadian Blu-ray release of Amelie, so I need to check that out, too.

Hors de prix (Priceless) isn't my favorite Audrey Tautou movie by a long shot, but it's still worth watching just to see her. smile

I've been waiting for Amelie to show up in this country, I may have to go Canadian if it doesn't happen soon.

Wish City of Lost Children would hit Blu-ray also.

Gundam 00: A wakening of the Trailblazer

Japanese DTS audio and no english subtitles so I'm not totally sure what is going on but, all the same, WOW!

How’d you end up with a copy with only Japanese DTS and no English Sub/Dub? They don’t usually release those here in the states.

I’ve found that a lot of the DTS and Dolby 5.1 anime sound pretty good like they took some time to master or remaster them that way.

If you have to ask, you probably don't want to know. :^D I will however, probably purchase it on bluray when it is available in the US in a few years.

I wouldn't expect the english dub to be complete for another year or so. The english dub of the last portion of Gundam 00 season 2 *just* came out a few days ago even though the show aired years ago in Japan.

No worries about how you got it some titles are only available that way. I’ve had the first season of Gundam 00 for some time but I hate to watch Anime a season at a time so usually wait for the series to finish before watching them. Though eventually I will run out of complete titles in my library but it should take a year or so. wink

Since the wave of depression caused by the last viewing had finally ended, I watched Dancer in the Dark again. The first time in five years. The movie is horribly brilliant, one of my absolute favorites. Even if I've only dared to watch it three times.
