I think that's a great idea, Mike. I have often *thought* that, but didn't take time to voice the suggestion.

It would be helpfull to know what the blemishes were on an auction item before you bid on it. I was looking at some FO M22's last year and inquired to Peter Bell about them and he gave me the lowdown on the finish.

Well, Cam, Mike is one of my heroes wink

Good FleaBay sellers post pictures of the actual item and offer descriptions of known defects. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the same of Axiom. Even though auction items can offer good value, it's still a lot of money. Better to prevent buyer dissatisfaction by communicating fully.

Uh....yeah, right. I'm referring you two to the doc.

I actually posted my thoughts because I was in a "buying mood", AKA: feeling impulsive, when I was looking at the M80 V3 Walnut speakers. I tend to buy shit that I don't need for no good reason from time to time (Costco kills me). If there would have been some more pics of the "blemishes", and they would have been acceptable to me at the time, I would have bought the damn things. But now the mood has passed and I don't want them and I'm looking at carbon fiber hoods for the car. Dam they're expensive......

Moral of story, not everyone in the market for "stuff", feels the need to spend coutless hours researching and price shopping to save three dollars. Sometimes they just want things without any inconvineience. Anyone selling things on the interent need to make the buying desision easy, painless and quick - before the buyers change their mind.

You are so right, Mike. Any obstacle between the customer's money and the thing they want right then is potentially a lost sale.

The problem is most of the so-called blemishes can't be found anyway, at least that is the case with all the factory outlet speakers I've owned, and my recent vp180. Might be a bit hard, and time consuming for them to waste time taking pictures of this type. jm2c
