I just watched the Blu-ray of “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (2010). Quite the video and audio feast. Here’s what Blu-ray.com had to day about it: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Sorcerers-Apprentice-Blu-ray/15764/Overall I found the movie entertaining but nothing worthwhile that’s memorable. About the only memorable part is how annoying the apprentice is. Worth the watch just for the video and audio if you have an HT but I wouldn’t bother otherwise.

I had watched the blu-ray of Back to the Future last week. Did both the sequels tonight. The third one is still my favorite, then the original. The second one has always felt a little rough.

... The second one has always felt a little rough. A little emery cloth should take care of that.

A few of the TV shows that I've found 'interesting' lately.
"Wildboyz" on CurrenTV.
Think: Jackass goes to the jungle. Two guys, frequently dressed as Tarzan, do things like trying to tongue-kiss a monitor lizard and bringing a juvenille Orangutan back to their hotel room and filming him trashing it.
Also on Current, "Kill it, Cook it, Eat it." Explan. not nec.
And if you're missing "1000 Ways to Die" on Spike TV, you're missing out on some big fun--- if you find that sort of stuff side-splittingly amusing. They have some pretty good quality CGI renderings of the anatomical consequences. Great TV to snack by.

The film is an unmitigated disaster, a putrid patchwork of the original series stitched together by wretched performances, bad creative decisions and a story that's all exposition, no depth.
It's a nice movie to look at, as long as you ignore the characters, plot, and action.
A big ol' mess of atrocious acting and terrible scripting,
Unspeakably bad dialogue delivered by excruciatingly bad actors in a plot so illogical and stupid it kills unicorns.
If you haven’t guessed yet I watched the Blu-ray of “The Last Airbender.” Yes it really is as bad as the reviewers linked at Rottontomatoes.com say: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/last_airbender/It does look pretty good and sound great as long as the actors aren’t talking. http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Last-Airbender-Blu-ray/15626/#Review

C'mon, Dean. I know you're a busy guy, but you coulda come up with way better slice and dice comments yourself. I started reading and got excited that you were really gonna get mean. Then I realized that you weren't quoting yourself. You rarely disappoint when you are displeased.
I can wait for the next one.

I can wait for the next one. Bob it was so bad that my brain was to numb from watching it to come up with anything creative enough to do it justice. Maybe next time I’ll wait and write my own review after I’ve recovered.

Well, OK. But, being completely selfish about this, I hope something inspiring pisses you off sooner rather than later.

I usually find panning bad movies a cathartic experience. Given the quality of movies being made these days I’m sure another one will be along soon enough.
