We've proposed some changes to this system, but they've apparently gone un-noticed by the powers that be.
Though I'm guessing that making great speakers is more important work than fiddling with something as trivial as board member titles.

I think it's a pretty accurate naming convention really. I find that I got to 40 posts pretty easily...why? Because I was addicted to the wealth of information at that point.
My only suggestion would be to change "addict" after 300. I think at that point you've either got one of two things: "committed relationship" or "unhealthy obsession". If you make it to 300 posts, you're either not going anywhere because you're in love, or the Axiom crew will need to look into a restraining order.
I'm hoping to buy something...anything...before I get to 300 posts otherwise I'll be expecting my restraining order!

I think many of us felt that the titles should be spread out more. Getting to 300 shouldn't be the end. Many of us got to 300 a loooooooong time ago. Heck, when Sushi was around he could post 300 messages in a couple weeks! (Did anyone ever find out what happened to him?)

I've only been participating on the board for a week or so and haven't paid much attention to the naming convention. Since it was brought up, I noticed I'm now an "addict". That's a pretty apt description since I really look forward to checking in for the information and interplay and getting my "fix" several times during the day. I wonder if there is anything similar to a nicotine patch I could use?
The odd thing is that I see the double use of addict. Certainly not a reason to lose sleep, but at the 300 level, you might expect something like "stalker" or "mutant". Maybe even "Sushi".
On similar topic, I asked Amie about the possibility of adding a "Site Map" to help with navigation and make the full information set more easily available. She agreed to look at that.

There are indeed a great many hidden pages on the Axiom site. It would be nice to see all of them.

funny you mention sushi. I thought about him yesterday when I got may plasma set up. if it wasn't for his suggestion on AVS, I NEVER would've heard of Axioms or HSU nor would've I been able to get my Pio 45TX at a great price. Much props to him where ever he's at.

I confess. I flew out to Dallas and locked him in his own attic with enough food and water for a year. Why, you might ask? It's the only way I could have achieved the rank of top poster.
If you ask my wife, my title would be "unhealthily obsessed." I told her to check me in to a mental institution if I ever start keeping a laptop (loaded to the Who's Online page) in bed with me.
